John Dory and the Golden Ratio

By Tobias Friedrich

A lower perspective is key on many fronts, as framing a swimming fish from above the reef or seagrass will hide and mask it. Allow the fish to swim over blue water and you’ll get a much better perspective. Framing it slightly into the “golden ratio” will keep good balance in the image.
